We drove to the Krýsuvík Geothermal Area in the Reykjanesfólkvangur Nature Preserve, and visited the Garður Lighthouse
Road Trip to Keflavík

We left Vik behind, and drove to our stay in Reykjanesbær, near Keflavík. We stopped near several waterfalls on the way back to our final stay of the trip.
Skaftafell and Glacial Lagoon

We drove to the Skaftafell, in the north-eastern part of Iceland, to visit Svartifoss, and see the Glacial Lagoon.
Katla Ice Cave

We went on a guided tour of Katla Ice Cave, located under the Kötlujökull glacier
Black Sand Beach and Northern Lights

We spent the day exploring Vik, and after nightfall we went on a small excursion to see the aurora
The Long Road to Vik

Today we pick up our rental car and set out for Vik. Along the way, we will be sightseeing around the golden circle.
Maritime Museum

Another day spent exploring Reykjavik. Today we decided to go to the Maritime Museum, to look at look at boats and stuff.

I had nothing planned for the first day by design, to give us a chance to recover from the travel.
A Rocky Start

After waking up at 4am, I packed the rest of my bags, did some last minute cleaning, and then headed for the airport to begin my trip back to Iceland.
