I went with Ben to visit John’s house and met with Katie to go watch the new Dr Strange movie.
We met up at John’s house where I got to meet John’s cats, and view his impressive collection of anime and lego merch.
We were a bit early, so we went to Texas roadhouse for an early dinner, then Target and Gamestop after. I was feeling somewhat inspired by John’s lego collection, so I went ahead and got the lego international space station set I had been planning on getting.
A pretty strong but short lived thunder storm hit right as we were leaving Gamestop, and we all got pretty wet on the way back to John’s house, where we were going to meet up with Katie.
It was still a bit early, so we watched John play the game “13 Sentinels” for awhile, and pet the cats. The movie was a wild ride, and we had a good time clowning on it, as is tradition. Definitely was not expecting it to go the necromancy route. Also, during the credits there was a role for “best boy grip” which we thought was really funny. Motivational quote of the day:“maybe what it means to be best boy grip, is learning when to let go”-John RexroadWe went back to John’s apartment after, and Corey was awake, so we talked for a bit longer and headed home.
It was a great day.
