I got together with Mom, Dad, Alena, and Jessica. Danielle also came over, due to some family circumstances.
We were going to play Apples to Apples, but we couldn’t find it, so we played a game called What do you Meme, which is a similar concept; matching up images with captions and choosing the funniest pairing. Some of the options were a bit spicy, and we traded those in, but the humor got progressively more yabai anyway. As usual, Jessica, despite being the most PG ended up winning anyway. I did manage to tie with here with a pity win in the last round.
For dinner, we had a pork roast with injected garlic, as well as potatoes / carrots / onions (which I cut :D). There was also hot cross buns, fruit salad (brought by Alena), bacon wrapped asparagus (Brought by Jessica), Tiropitas (Philo cheese triangles, brought by Danielle), and Pie (brought by me!).
It was also good to see Roos and Maggie, the good doggos. Maggie was as hyper as ever when we first arrived, but she calmed down fairly quickly, despite my injuries.
I gave Maggie one of my old shoes, and she was very happy with it.
Also the cat was doing cat things, as usual.
