When I arrived at Chicago, it was already super late, and and it turned out the next train would not be running until the next day. Amtrack had all of us spend the night in sleeper cars in the wharehouse.

It was.. not pleasant.

Upon waking, we learned that the next train wouldn’t be running until that evening, meaning another  entire day spent waiting. At this point, I was pretty fed up, and I learned that apparently sometimes Greyhound would allow you to trade an Amtrack ticket for a bus ticket.

I walked to the Greyhound station and thankfully they were willing to trade my ticket, and I was able to get a bus back to Cleveland with a much shorter wait.

It wasn’t the most comfortable ride, but it was better than waiting.
