I woke up to the first snow blanket of winter 2022.

It was ironic that it happened on the first day in awhile I had planned to actually go out and do something; almost like the universe was conspiring to keep me indoors, but I figured it would be clear by the afternoon and went back to sleep.

My fancy gamer mouse had been having difficulty with registering clicks properly, and Wally had offered to try and fix it by replacing the click PCB. The parts arrived awhile ago, but today is when we had planned to meet up to do the operation.

That wasn't going to be until late afternoon though, so I spent the morning playing a new game I found called Vintage Story

The game is similar to Minecraft in presentation, but with much more immersive and hardcore survival mechanics, and dynamic world.

Around 3, I headed for Wally's house. By this point, the roads were completely clear, and the drive was uneventful.

Wally's house was as eclectic as ever, completly packed with various nerd merchandise.

The surgery begins

After putting it back together, the tracking didn't initially work, but it was because it had to be screwed together for some OCB's to make contact. After that was done, it worked perfectly.

We decided to have dinner at Red Lobster (mostly for the biscuits)

Wally's favorite shrimp (according to Red Lobster)

Wally talked about his progress on his 4v4 ninja game, and we talked about fugure game ideas and anime.

On the way home, the snow started coming down a bit harder, and it was really pretty in the lights, so I tried to take some pictures of it.
