Wolff Bros paid for The IT department to go to Foundry social for dinner and recreation. Foundry social used to be an actual foundry, but is now a game bar, with an indoor Go Kart race track next door.

After getting our table, and the others ordered some drinks, we decided to go ahead and start the race. Nathan Stebner decided to not join the race, and stayed behind to watch the table.

They gave us goofy headwear for under the helmet, and Nicole took a selfie with everyone

We watched a short video to explain the rules and general safety instructions. After that, we donned our helmets and got in the Karts to begin.

The Karts were super responsive, and very fun to drive. After a few times around the track to get used to the layout, I started really pushing the speed, and really whipping around corners. It was really fun!

In the end, I got last place though. I choose to believe that just means I am the safest driver.

We returned to our table and ordered food. Then we headed to the arcade to spend our tokens.

They had a mix of old retro games, and more modern arcade machines. I tried playing Frogger, a Simpsons beat em up (With Nicole), and Gauntlet. All of the machines I tried had input problems, such as dropped inputs.

We also had a group Skee ball competetion.

I didn't win, but I also didn't lose.

The food arrived, and we proceeded to food.

I got to hear a lot of stories from the others, such as the time Mark flipped his first mustang going 100+ mph, and Joe's various motorcycle accidents, further reinforcing me being the safest driver of the bunch. I also heard how Nicole ended up on stage at a One Republic concert after Joe started everyone chanting about it being her birthday.

I asked the server if the "Cobbler Cauldron" was served in an actual cauldron. It wasn't, but I ordered it anyway. Joe and Eric also ordered one from the peer pressure.

Very tasty.

For our next get together, I will try and get Joe to take us to cedar point.

On the way home, I stopped by target to buy some luggage.

In closing, here's a random picture of the sky.
