We woke up to an amazing view of Mt.Fuji from our hotel window, and took some time to explore the hostel and surrounding area in the fresh light of morning.

After relaxing at the room for a bit, we began making our way to the bus to go to the Fuji Shibazakura festival.

After a short bus ride, we arrived at Fuji Shibazakura, and it blew us away. Considering the weather yesterday, we are incredibly lucky to have such a beutiful day, with an absolutely perfect view of Mt Fuji.

There was a s short hiking trail through the wooded area that surrounded the garden, that was a bit less crowded

I was starting to feel a bit overwhelmed by the crowd and their aggressive selfies, and Mom and Alena started making fun of me.

Despite my grumpyness, I consider myself incredibly lucky to be able to take such amazing pictures.
We returned to the room once again, to rest. It's a really nice room, and we wanted to take full advantage of it.

We spent the Afternoon walking around Kawaguchi, taking in the sights and crazy wind coming off the lake.

In the evening, we had a real macha tea set at a local traditional cafe. It was bitter, but also very tasty, especially with fancy cakes.
