Today we explored around Himeji, which is the town closes to where my sister lives.
While waiting for a train, we checked out a small shrine on the other side of the road from the station.
Himeji is a pretty cool city. The main street has a great view to the castle.
We got to take a tour of the inside of Himeji Castle.
There were some gardens on the castle grounds.
Next to the castle is Kokoen Gardens, a larger Japanese style garden near the castle.
