The day before I departed for Iceland once again was spent packing and cleaning and occasionally doing work.
I purchased all new luggage for this trip, including a special camera backpack to combine my old small backpack and camera bag into one article. It has dividers that allow you to set up a layout for storing your camera and gear.
Here is my first cursed attempt. Wally made sure to point out that he hated everything that was going on here.

The beeg bag just had clothes, packed very efficiently. I ran out of things to put into the carry on duffel bag, so I decided to go ahead and pack my laptop, so I can work on writing blog posts during the trip.

I tried to put my laptop in the laptop sleeve case that I have had for ages, but it wouldn't fit because my laptop doesn't fit in anything. So for now, it's jankilly wrapped in a towel.
I also bought a new coat, since Iceland is a bit cold, apparently.

When I came back from Japan, I had a bought of depression from the letdown of it being over, and I heard that one way to help combat that is to make sure your house is in order when you leave, so I spent the last couple days deep cleaning my apartment, so I have a nice place to come home to.
Just ignore the couch

I also installed the new windshield wiper blade that I have been ignoring for ages. I found it while cleaning my car, and decided it was time.

Also fall vibes

At this point, I have checked in for the flight, and vaguely know how to get to the first Hotel we will be staying at.
I was going to check in for the rental, but I can do that later, once I add Jackson as a legal driver. Having the laptop will make it a bit easier as well.
Also, I am going to get OneDrive so I can sync stuff, and that's pretty neat.
