Kawaguchiko

Most of this day was spent traveling to Kawaguchi. There was a point on the trip where we were supposed to have a view of Mt Fuji, but it was completely overcast, so we couldn’t see anything

When we arrived in Kawaguchi, it was raining super hard, and we ended up having to walk for quite awhile, through monsoon like conditions to get to our hostel.

The hostel ended up being really nice though, more like a traditional Japanese Inn, with a tatami rooms and a kotatsu. Nevertheless, we were still pretty grumpy, and very damp.

I got to have some tasty tempura that evening, so that was pretty nice.
