All in all, 2021 was pretty mid.  Lots of shitty stuff happened, and  most of the shitty stuff from 2020 continued to happen. For me  personally, I got by pretty well, and am actually better off now than by  just a little, but my heart goes out to everyone that’s still  suffering.

I would like to think that next year will be better,  but I have a feeling it’s just going to be more of the same. Maybe some  better people will be elected, and maybe some of the worse people will  just leave us be, but only time will tell, and by the time we get there  it likely won’t feel like anything has changed.

Still, it’s  important to remember that there has been progress, no matter how small.  Biden may not be remembered as the most effective president, but he did  better than I was expecting at least. It feels like he started the ball  rolling in the right direction, even if it’s damned slow.

Even  if the world doesn’t get any better in 2022, I am going to try and  improve myself, as well as the small part of the world I do have  influence over.

Here’s to the new year, everyone.

Kobyashi's Dragon Maid Season 2 Finale

I didn’t really plan on doing anything particularly special for new years, beyond just chill in Voice chat’s and play games. I played some Minceraft, and I also got Moonlighter, which is an interesting dungeon crawler / item shop management game.

So far it’s pretty fun, though you can can adjust the prices in front of the customers, and that seems like a bad management policy.

I hung out in the love live VC with Walley and crew, and then later in the Yuru VC with Matt while we played minecraft. I built a monument to 2022 as the time reached midnight.

I have some great friends, I should tell them how much I appreciate them more often.
