It turns out that the fancy painting effect I made just doesn’t work on mobile, which doesn’t allow camera’s with an uncleared buffer. I spent most of the day trying to find a different method, such as manually adding 2 textures together, but it was a huge performance drop, especially on mobile. Ultimately, I just made the particle lifetime last longer, and accepted that it wouldn’t be permanent.
