Today, I turned 30. I went to visit my parents house, and played with Maggie, their new puppy.

I watched the first sunrise of the year with Alena over Chippewa Lake, which is a common way to celebrate the new year in Japan.
The Holden Arboretum

I visited the Holden Arboretum with Mom.It’s one of the largest arboreta and botanical gardens in the United States.

Gorge Metro park

I went on a hike with mom in Gorge Metro Park, which is a bit north of Akron.
Put-in-Bay

I went to Put-in-Bay with Mom, Jessica, and Alena.
We took the ferry, which is always fun. Love me a good boat journey.
At the
Inside a Volcano

Today I got to descent into the lava chamber of an extinct volcano.
To get into the volcano, you are lowered down on a modified
Whale Watching and Blue Lagoon

We went on a boat tour to try and spot some whales. The ocean was quite rough, but the views were amazing.
