Our first destination in our roadtrip across America was Kansas, to visit the history farm owned by the Michal's. The old house is still standing, as is the family graveyard.
Still, it was a long drive to get there.
We stopped at a rest stop which had a pretty nice view. It's true that Kansas is incredibly flat, but it's also very pretty.
It was also incredibly hot though. There was a station where you could hose down your car to keep the paint from melting.
We also went past a wind farm. It was our first time seeing one, and we were all super excited.
Continuing on to the old farm and graveyard. The farm is still being operated by a 3rd party group on the Michal's behalf.
Onward to a small town, where we spent the night.
